the design

Welcome, we’re excited to share the vision and inspiration behind the Servant Community Center—a
place where architecture meets the divine, designed not just as a building but as a testament to our
faith, our community, and our commitment to the gospel. This Center is more than a facility; it’s an
embodiment of values, a place of gathering, and a sanctuary that speaks to the heart of our mission.

God’s Hands as the Arc of the Building At the very core of the building’s design is the concept of
“God’s hands” forming the arc. This arc wraps around the structure, symbolizing a protective embrace,
sheltering all who enter. It reflects the unwavering guidance and support we believe is offered by God’s
hands, cradling this community and all those who seek fellowship, growth, and spiritual development
within these walls.

Numbers 6:23-24 – The Turning of the Building The turning of the building reflects the words from
Numbers 6:23-24, “The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.” This turn in the
structure isn’t just architectural—it’s a physical expression of God turning toward us with grace. As the
building faces outward, it reflects our hope that God’s favor and warmth will reach everyone who walks
through the doors.

Entry Angle – Inviting, Spiritual Alignment, Engaging, Embracing The entryway has been carefully
angled to symbolize God turning His face toward us. This entry design is inviting and spiritually aligned,
drawing everyone inward toward a space of peace and unity. It’s an open-armed welcome that sets the
tone for connection, spiritual reflection, and community gathering.

V-Shaped Design – A Symbolic Altar The V-shape of the structure symbolizes an altar, a place of
sacred meeting where we gather to offer, reflect, and renew. This central design feature is meant to
remind us that every part of our journey in this space is built around a foundation of faith and a
commitment to God’s presence among us.

Windows – Numbers Rooted in Biblical Significance The windows are not merely decorative; they are
purposeful in number and design, drawing from the significance of biblical numbers, particularly 10 and
The number 10 often symbolizes completion and divine order, while the number 7 represents
spiritual perfection. These elements remind us that God’s order and presence are woven into every
detail of this center, with each window casting light that represents faith, guidance, and purpose.

Colors reflecting the SCC logo. The colors chosen for the building are drawn directly from the Servant Community Center’s logo, creating a cohesive identity that connects our community’s values with the visual elements of the building. This color palette represents our mission, bringing to life the vision we hold as a center of worship, service, and transformation.

Entrance Materials Engraved with Scripture At the entrance, materials have been selected to allow for
the engraving of scripture, creating a sense of sacred entry for all who enter. These words remind us of
our spiritual foundation, grounding each visitor in the message of the gospel and offering moments of
reflection as they cross the threshold into this space of grace and growth.

Galatians 1:10 – Finding Purpose in Every Detail As you enter and look through the windows, the
spirit of Galatians 1:10 speaks to our mission: “Am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God?” These
words capture the heart of why we serve—not to seek earthly praise, but to fulfill a higher calling. The
design of the windows is a humble reminder that every gathering, every effort, and every moment spent
here is for the glory of God and the betterment of our community.

The Servant Community Center is a building with purpose, meaning, and faith woven into its foundation.
We invite you to be part of this journey, not only as a supporter of the project but as a part of its legacy.
